Set custom limits

About this task

These instructions are specific to a configuration where user entitlements are defined at the individual user level.

Procedure

  1. From the Administration tab, in the Manage section, select Users. The Manage Users page appears.

  2. Select the User ID. The View User page appears.

  3. Click the Edit User button. The Edit User page appears.

  4. In the Access Level section, for Payment Limits, do the following:

    1. Select the Set custom limits option.
    2. Click the Set Custom Limits button. The Set Custom Limits overlay appears.

  5. Select the Limits Settings, either Standard or Extended.

    Each option includes a slightly different set of options. For extended settings, you can define limits for repetitive and non-repetitive transactions and approvals independently. For standard settings, the same limit will be applied to both repetitive and non-repetitive transactions and approvals of that payment type.

  6. In each field where you want to define a limit, enter the limit amount.

    Note: A blank field indicates no limit.

  7. Click Save. The Edit User page appears.

  8. Click Save. The Manage Users page appears showing a success message.
