Manage transfer rules

The central location in Universal Online Banker to manage transfer rules is the Manage Transfer Rules page. This page provides access to all the transfer rule functions, such as creating, editing and approving transfer rules.

Transfer rule filter

The top portion of the Manage Transfer Rule page enables you view transfer rules based on the selected data.

The transfer rules section on this page lists the defined transfer rules in table format.

Note: The rules displayed in the list are based on the selected filter criteria. When you first navigate to this page, all rules are displayed.

Using the transfer rules section of the page, you can:

* To sort the transfer rules in the list, click the column heading. Click the heading a second time to reverse the sort order. A sort icon identifies the current sort column and order (ascending and descending).

Target Account
Identifies the target transfer account for the transfer rule.
It is identified as the Target Account on the Create and Edit Transfer Rule pages.
Funds will either be transferred to or from this account, based on whether the rule is an above or below balance rule.
Rule Description
The description defined to identify the transfer rule.
Threshold Type
Identifies whether the rule is an above or a below rule.
The following describes the types:
  • Above – For this rule type, funds are transferred from the Target Account to the Secondary Account when the balance in the Target Account is above the balance defined in the Threshold Amount field.
  • Below – For this rule type, funds are transferred to the Target Account from the Secondary Account when the balance in the Target Account is below the balance defined in the Threshold Amount field.
Threshold Amount
Identifies the balance in the target account at which the transfer rule should be processed.
Secondary Account
Identifies the account used to satisfy the threshold requirements for the target account.
Frequency
Identifies how often the rule is processed: one-time only, daily, weekly, or monthly.
Start Date
The date defined as the first date the rule is to be evaluated by the system.
Note: The transfer rule is only evaluated if the status of the rule is Active.
Status
Identifies whether the rule is active or if it requires approval.
Last Modified By
Identifies the login ID of the user to last modify the rule.
Note: Use the View Audit History to feature to view all activities users have performed against this rule.
Last Updated
Indicates the date and time of the last modification/status change to the transfer rule .
