Delete a user group

About this task

Deleting a user group permanently removes the user group. Once deleted, it cannot be restored.

Note: A user group cannot be deleted if there are any users associated with the group. Users must first be removed from the user group.

Procedure

  1. From the Administration tab, in the Manage section, select User Groups. The Manage User Groups page appears.

  2. Click the Select Action button in the Action column for the user group you want to delete. The Action menu appears.

  3. Click Edit User Group. The Edit User Group page appears.

  4. Click Delete User Group. The Delete User Group page appears.

  5. Click Delete User Group. The Manage User Groups page appears showing a success message.
