About creating a subcategory

The cash position worksheet includes standard categories and subcategories. The data for the standard subcategories is automatically entered by the system when the report is generated. You can manually add custom subcategories to the cash positions worksheet. Custom subcategory information is not provided by the system. All information for a custom subcategory is entered and updated manually.

Custom subcategories have these characteristics:

• Subcategories must have unique names. The name cannot be the same as one of the standard categories or one of the other standard or custom subcategories.
• The row added to the report for the custom subcategory is highlighted in order to provide a visual difference from the standard subcategories.
• Values in the subcategory rows are included in the subtotals for the category and the Daily Position total.
• Values can be manually changed each time the report is generated.
• Unlike the standard subcategories, the custom subcategories do not provide hypertext links to a more detailed report.
