Template Information
- Template Name

Enter a unique identifier for the template.
- Template Limit

Enter the maximum amount enabled for a payment created from this template.
The field can hold a maximum of 24 characters, including punctuation.
- Template Amount Indicator
- Select one of three payment amount options:
- Define amount when payment is created
- Changeable amount (can be changed when payment is created)
- Exact amount (cannot be changed when payment is created)
- Template Activation
- The date on which the template should become active.
You can select the activation date in one of two ways:
- Manual entry

Payment Information
- Payment Account
- The account from which the payment originates.
- IBAN
- Identifier for the Recipient Account used in place of an account number. Enter an International Bank Account Number (IBAN) in the structure of a specific country’s format.
- Amount Currency
- For cross-currency payments, select one of two options to activate the currency field at the Recipient level:
- Recipient Currency ( ) – Form of currency selected for Recipient Currency shown in parenthesis ( )
- Payment Account Currency ( ) – Form of currency selected for Payment Account shown in parenthesis ( )
- Rate
- For cross-currency payments, select the currency rate for the transaction.
- Standard Rate (Default)
- Contract Rate (contracted between FI and customer)
If the Recipient Currency and Amount Currency are not the same, the rate retrieved will be for currency conversion of the Recipient Account to the Payment Account.
- Customer Reference
- Reference text to be displayed in on the bank statement for ease of reconciliation.
- Category Purpose
- An optional code used to designate how the payment is to be processed.
- Posting Indicator
- Select one of the following:
- Per Payment - One debit entry is posted for a group of credit instructions
- Per Recipient - One debit entry is posted for each individual credit instruction
Schedule
- Payment Date
- Date on which the Recipient receives the payment.
- You can select the payment date in one of two ways:
- Can be prepopulated based on non-processing days, minimum lead time, future date restrictions, holiday schedule, or payment cutoff for required payment lead time
- When Payment date cannot be calculated and pre-populated with a value, you can manually enter the date or select a Payment Date from the Calendar icon ( )
Options
- Ordering Customer
- Select Add information to display additional fields to enter ordering customer information to include with payment
- Name
- ID Type
Fields that display based on selected ID Type
- ID Number
- Birth Date
- Province of Birth
- City of Birth
- Country of Birth
- Address
- Address Line 2
- Address Line 3
- Workflow: Save as template
- This option saves the completed transfer instructions as a template, which is useful if you regularly make the same type of transfer. If you select this option and click Continue, a page appears where you can define template details.
Recipient Information
You can create new recipients by selecting them from a list, creating a new record, or by importing the information from a file. The Recipients table is displayed when you choose to add the new recipient. After adding one or more recipients to the payment, the following details and options are displayed for each recipient.
- Recipient Name
- The name of the payment recipient.
- Account Number
- Identifier for the Recipient Account.
- Bank ID
- Column heading showing IDs for all recipients’ banks.
Identifier for the Bank associated with the Recipient Account Number
- Status
- Status of each payment:
- Active
- Hold
- Final Recipient
- Click hyperlink to display the Add Final Recipient overlay. Once final recipients have been added to payment, the hyperlink changes to Edit Final Recipient.
- Additional Information
- Recipient Advising - Add recipient advising information was selected when creating recipient. Click to display the Recipient Advising overlay.
- Remove
- Click the red X icon to delete the corresponding recipient from the payment Recipient list
- Active Recipient Total
- Number of recipients in active status in the Recipients list. Continually updates as recipients are added or removed from the Recipients list
- Get Rate
- Click to obtain the currency conversion rate based on the total amount of all payments, including both Active and Hold. The calculation of the currency conversion for individual Recipients and the running totals
