Reset a user's password

About this task

Note: This function is available only to the Company System Administrator(s).

Procedure

  1. From the Administration tab, in the Reset/Edit section, select Password. The Reset Password page appears.

  2. On the Reset Password page, enter the following information:

    1. In the User ID field, enter the User ID of the user whose password you are resetting.
    2. In the New Password field, enter a new, temporary password, or click Generate to receive a system-generated secure password.

      Upon first successful login, the system prompts the user to create a new password.

    3. In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the temporary password for confirmation.

  3. Click Submit.
