Import Log Information

At import, a number of validations occur, including structural validations (such as whether the file has the correct layout) and business validations (whether the content of the fields is correct). For the structural validations, the system stores information in a log in order to help the customer with locating a possible layout mismatch in the imported file. The Import Log Information overlay displays the results of the structural validation. This information is particularly important because a partial import is not allowed, and thus one error stops the process.

Note: This page displays only errors resulting from the import process's structural validations; however, business rules for the specific transaction type have also been applied. Every validation performed on a manually created transaction is also performed on imported transactions.

The top portion of the page summarizes the general import information. The portion that follows provides details on each error.
