Tier Limits

Amount/Minimum/Maximum

The range of transaction amounts from Minimum to Maximum that define this tier's authorization requirements. At least one tier must be defined for a profile.

An unlimited number of tiers are possible. To add additional tiers, click Add Another Tier.

The minimum and maximum limit amounts may fall within multiple tiers, which is a condition called overlapping. If a transaction amount falls within the overlapping range of different tiers, the panel combinations from all of the related tiers may be used.

Note: The minimum amount for a tier must always be equal or greater than the minimum amount in the previous tier.
Authorization Panel

A list of the panels that can be used to authorize transactions falling within a particular tier's limits. At least one panel must be defined per tier but no more than nine.

To add another panel after the fifth one, click Add Alternate Panel. A second row of authorization panels appears.

To define a panel, select one or more groups from the list. Each list includes a maximum of the five standard groups A, B, C, D, and E. If a group has not been set up, it does not appear in the list.

The users that are members of each group must be defined separately on the Panel Authorization Group page.
