Delete an issue or void instruction

Procedure

1. On the main menu, select Fraud Control, and in the Manage section, select Issue Maintenance.

2. On the Issue Maintenance page, click the item's Check Number(s) link.

   The Edit Issue or Void Instruction page appears.

3. Click Delete Request.

   The issue or void instruction is removed from the queue and Issue Maintenance page.

   Note: Deleting entries is allowed up to the time the instructions are transmitted to the financial institution for processing. Deleting an instruction from the list is not the same as creating an “Issue Delete” or “Void Delete” instruction. The latter is actually transmitted to the bank as a request to delete an existing issue or void instruction, whereas, deleting an instruction in the list affects only entries that have not been transmitted. After transmission, only viewing is permitted.
