Create a panel authorization profile

Procedure

1. On the main menu, select Administration, and in the Create section, select New Panel Authorization Profile.

2. On the Manage Panel Authorization Profiles page, click Create Profile.

3. On the Create Profile page, enter the profile information.

4. When finished defining the profile, click Continue.

5. On the Preview Profile page, review the information.

6. Select one of these options:

   • To save the profile and copy it as the basis for another profile, click Submit and Copy. This option is available only if the class of service parameter for Dual Authorization for Panel Auth (Client) is configured in SAM. Upon successful submission, the Create Profile Definition page appears, and the new profile's status is Pending Add Approval. Select Continue. The new copied profile is also in a Pending Add Approval status.

   • To save the profile, click Submit Profile.
