Create New Batch
The Create New Batch page enables the creation of new, empty batch files. You may do so to subsequently add transactions from other batch files through the rebatching process.
Rebatching refers to the act of moving transactions from one batch file of to another batch file to facilitate processing them separately. For example, suppose a large batch is uploaded and you decide to split out a certain subset of those transactions into a separate batch. To accomplish this, you could create a new batch and then rebatch the subset of transactions to it.

-
Select the Confidential check box to flag the batch as confidential.
When a batch is marked as confidential, you can only access it if these conditions are met:
- You uploaded or created the batch file.
- You are in the same company with the user who uploaded the batch file and allowed you access to confidential batches
The Confidential flag restricts access by hiding the batch file on the Manage EFD Uploads page. Consequently, only if entitled can you view, modify, or process the batch file or its contents. The flag also limits access to reports that contain the file, batch, and transaction details.
Note: This option does not apply to files in a NACHA file. - Environment Type
