Change the EFD encryption method

Procedure

1. From the main menu, select File Services, and in the Electronic File Delivery section, select Security.

   The EFD Security page appears with the current encryption method and encryption approval status.

2. From the New Encryption Method list, select the new encryption method.

   Note: Only one method can be active at any one time, but it can be changed as necessary (subject to approval).

3. If you selected 3DES as the method, enter a secret key.

4. Click Submit. The EFD Security page reappears with the new encryption method and encryption approval status.

   Note: If the change requires approval, the encryption will not change until approval is given.
