Authorize Stop Payment Request

If you are entitled in Universal Online Banker as an approver, the Authorize Stop Payment Request page enables entitled you to accept or reject a selected stop payment request. This includes requests to cancel stop payments.

The top portion of the page summarizes the request details, while the bottom portion shows information that is specific to individual checks included in the request.

When authorizing a request, your options are as follows:

• Approve – This options approves the request for processing by the financial institution.
• Reject – This option stops further processing of the request in its current form. The request can be edited and submitted again for approval.
