Alerts

An alert is a secure message that indicates a specified condition has been reached or a certain event has occurred for a specific account. When you create the alert, you provide details for when and how you receive the alert.

For example, you could create an alert for any of these situations:

  • Notification of account balance conditions, such as a balance over or under preset amount
  • Periodic balance updates
  • Notification of disallowed or failed payments or transfers
Note:
  • The Universal Online Banker user only sees the alerts that financial institution has enabled in SAM.
  • Deactivated and deleted accounts will not be available when creating alerts. Alerts associated with a single account are removed when the associated account is deactivated or deleted. If an alert is associated with multiple accounts, only the deactivated or deleted account is removed from the alert, not the alert itself.
