Add an external transfer account

Procedure

  1. From the Transfers menu, in the Manage section, select External Accounts. The External Transfer Accounts page appears.

    Note: If a Transfers menu is not available, transfer options may be accessed using the Payments menu.

  2. Click Add External Account. The Add External Transfer Account page appears.

  3. Complete the fields using the following information:

    Nickname
    A name used to identify this account.
    This name is displayed with the account number and is used to quickly identify the account.
    Bank
    Information for the bank or financial institution at which the external account is held.
    The bank information can be entered or selected.
    Using the select option allows you to open either a list of preferred banks or a search dialog where you can search for and then select the bank.
    The following describes the bank information:
    • Bank ID Type- Identifies the account type, such as ABA (ACH)
    • Bank ID - The routing number.
    • Bank Name - The name of the bank (optional).
    Account Number (Confirm Account Number)
    The account number for the external account.
    Duplication is required to ensure the number is entered correctly.
    Account Type
    The type of account (Savings, Checking, or Loan).
    Currency
    The currency type for the external transfer account.
    Enable for
    Enables fund transfers from and / or to the external account when check boxes are selected.

  4. Click Continue. The Preview External Transfer Account page appears.

  5. Review the account definitions, read the Terms and Conditions, and then select I have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

  6. Click Submit Account. The External Transfer Accounts page appears showing a success message. The new account is added to the list of defined external transfer accounts.
